Entering this engagement session, I thought I knew exactly the vibe I was going for and felt prepared. However, this trip made me realize I'm not much of a hiker at all, despite considering myself quite an outdoors enthusiast. Considering this hike is moderately challenging, it gave me a newfound appreciation for the rugged terrain.

We began the day with a long drive, almost 5 and a half hours away from Portland. Anticipation built as we embarked on a 20-minute hike in the wet terrain. Finally, we reached our destination: Natural Bridges on the South Oregon Coast. Despite the pouring rain in the February winter, the photos turned out better than anything we could have imagined!

Sasha and David are a couple unlike any I have ever photographed. Their demeanor is go-with-the-flow and super chill, which made for an amazing experience photographing at this location.

We embraced the wet, rainy look, and you can feel the chemistry in the photos. At first glance, David knew Sasha was a special girl, and he hoped to get to know her better—little did he know Sasha would be the one he would marry. From the way they look in the photos to the drive back, this couple never hesitates to smile at the quirks and jokes they share, and you can tell their love story was crafted by God.
